Description
Continental school, oil on canvas portrait of St. Cecilia (patron saint of music), holding martyr's palm and sword, standing before an organ with Latin banner inscribed "Laudate Deum in Luidis et organo PS 150". Town visible through window in background, Frame: 35" x 26" image sight: 27" x 18". Has been re-lined, some inpainting/retouch, patched from behind. Frame has some losses.
