Date: Circa 1876.

Provenance/Additional Info: 11 3/4” x 15 3/4” multimedia Berlin or needlework commemorative textile. The elements include a die-cut chromolithograph of Washington, dried and wool flowers, silk, and metallic thread. It is inscribed: “George Washington Who Devoted His Life to America’s Independence”. The workmanship and brilliant colors are truly impressive. Condition is excellent. Housed in what appears to be the original wood frame.
