English, late 17th/ early 18th century with several later elements. An impressive early baroque walnut veneered cabinet on chest; the cabinet with cushion frieze drawer above a pair of drawers enclosing a multitude of compartments and hidden drawers; the chest with a molded fitted top, two over two drawer construction with matched geometric inlay and terminating to bun feet. Several pieces of veneer missing from lower chest molding, evidence of past repairs to cabinet and feet, possibly later elements present to case. Structurally stable.
