George Whitefield was an English Anglican cleric who was one of the founders of Methodism.
This book chronicles his life from his birth in 1714, his ordination as a deacon in 1736 and his appointment as Chaplain to the Georgian Colony in 1737 to which he made two voyages within a year.
He also traveled to America and visited Scotland before his death in 1770.

Condition
Good condition,Lilac cloth boards which are worn and stained. Brown spine with gilt lettering and fraying to top and bottom. Minor foxing. 533pp plus advertisements 24pp. 23 x 15 cm.
