Extremely rare and hard to find investment quality hand woven semi-antique Persian Mahal, size 4.3 x 8 feet, made of 100% baby lamb's wool pile on cotton foundation, all natural vegetable dye, an extremely finely detailed intricate floral motif on a rich red background, stunning multi layered/multi colored teardrop centerpiece floral medallion, finely done leveled crowned corners and an intricate cream colored floral trim. A beautiful selection of colors were used in making this masterpiece Persian Mahal. Hand woven by a master Persian rug weaver. A very rare rug, as an authentic Persian Mahal at this size is extremely hard to find. Country of origin: Iran. Mahal Persian rugs are somehow the most desirable among Persian village weavings, as they appeal strongly to both experts and interior designers.
