Four Eskimo Stone Sculptures c. 1950 including a walrus, two fish and a bear The larger fish was carved by Noah Aculiak, as identified by his disk number E9-1597I. He was born in the community of Inukjuak, in Nunavik (Arctic Quebec). Provenance: The larger fish: Collected by William E. Scheele (April 4, 1920 – October 10, 1998), former Director of the Cleveland Museum of Natural History from 1949 to 1972. See lot 70244. Exhibited: North by Southwest, The Mary Brogan Museum of Art and Science, Tallahassee, FL, 2010 Lengths / Heights: ranging from 3 ¾ to 13 ¼ inches
