Van Matino Ahn (Korea b. 1955) Contemporary. Original modern impressionist painting of a lavender field and farm in a Tuscan or Provence type setting. The work is oil/canvas and is signed. It is presented in a fine contemporary / modern frame. Van Matino Ahn won the main prize for the Korean Arts Grand Exhibition in 1979 as well as the Golden Prize for the MBC Grand Art Exhibition in 1980. He participated in the Exhibition of Mokwoo Artists of Korean Oil Paintings Association, the Five Korea-Japan Exchange Exhibition, and the Fine Arts Exhibition in Seoul, Korea. Provenance: Property of a Northeast collector. Measures: 47 1/2" x 35 1/2"
