Description
A group of 5 West Coat Mexican Post-Classic vessels, c. AD 900 - 1200, including a rare Nayarit round white-slipped seed bowl, 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 in (6.3 x 8.8 cm).; a Nayarit miniature bowl with white painted designs over orange slip. 1 1/4 x 2 1/4 in (3.2 x 5.7 cm).; a Michoacan brown-ware incense carrier with loop handle, 1 3/4 x 3 1/2 in (4.4 x 8.9 cm). 4); a Colima creme buff miniature offering container, 1 3/4 x 1 1/4 in (4.4 x 3.2 cm).; and a Nayarit brown-slipped miniature offering container with pierced hole near rim, 1 x 1 in (2.5 x 2.5 cm). All in great condition. A nice mixed group! Ex Clifford Baker collection, San Diego, CA, acquired in the 1960's.
