Description
An Egyptian faience scarab set in silver bezel, New Kingdom, c. 1570 - 1075 BC, with remnants of green glaze and depicting a springing hare on the base. The remains of a silver bezel can be found around the edges as it originally was set into a ring. 13.5 x 9 mm. Ex Spangenberg collection, TX.
