Description

Vintage and Rare Geigerscope, Circa 1950; a very unique piece, an optical radioactivity detector. It is made of hard plastic. These were available through magazine advertisements for amateur prospectors Mechanix Illistrated and similar) . This geigerscope includes the original cloth pouch and instructions. It is all packed into a small cardboard box that went through the US Postal System and is postmarked 1971. This device is in good condition although we are not sure it works as we have no way to test it. The geigerscope measures 3" H x 1 1/2" DIA.
