(Universal, 1982) A rare invitation to the screening of E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial for the Directors branch of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. The screening was held on December 13, 1982 at Universal Studios, and this particular invitation comes from the collection of Bill Wallen, who helped design and create promotional and advertising campaign materials for the film. Printed on embossed paper, the invitation measures approximately 9"x6" and is in fair to good condition with some discoloration to the cover from use.
