Currier and Ives, after a drawing by A. F. Tait, Catching a Tartar: The Life of a Hunter, c.1861, handcolored lithograph heightened in gum arabic, image 18.5 x 27 inches, matted and framed 31 x 38 inches. Provenance: Jack Warner Collection, Tuscaloosa, AL.
Condition
Faint dampstaining visible to bottom margin, does not appear to affect the image. The sheet measures 22 x 29.75 inches. some toning in the margins underneath the mat and small paper loss along the lower left margin also under the mat. Otherwise in good condition with very good strong color.Merchandise will be packed and transported by the purchaser at their own risk and expense.
