A Fine Tiffany Favrile Glass and Bronze Apple Blossom Table Lamp, Tiffany Studios, New York, c. 1899-1920. The domical leaded glass shade with an overall pattern of apple blossoms in pink and white striated opalescent glass with white glass centers, the leaves and branches in shades of green against a ground of mottled green glass. The shade impressed Tiffany Studios and measures 16" diameter. The shade rests on a cast bronze base with a cradled torpedo urn formed body atop a square foot. Three-socket cluster. Signed underfoot with the Tiffany monogram (see photos). Overall height, 22" high. ADDITIONAL NOTE and PROVENANCE: Was purchased through Heritage Auctions in Dallas Texas, May 24th 2006. It was Lot 30202 in Auction #631. CONDITION: The shade has one area at the bottom rim, which appears to be a glass filler (not exactly sure). I have added a photo. Otherwise the shade appears free of any cracks. The shade is very stable. This came to us from a local estate. The original purchaser now deceased, and consigned to us by his son.
