London: published by W.S. Orr & Co., 1837. Each plate drawn by Samuel Holden and engraved by F. W. Smith,for the third volume of Paxton's Magazine of Botany, and Register of Flowering Plants. Sir Joseph Paxton (1801-1865) published his magazine between 1834 and 1849 in London when the English mania for gardening was in "full bloom". Cream wove paper, sheet size 9 x 6.25 each. .

All with bright strong color, paper is time toned, ruled cit edges except for where pulled from binding
