Made in the 1920's this piece has a distinctive early art deco touch with his some left over art nouveau elegant style. Those were in use on desk as reading lampe or just for decoration. The light is softer than direct light creating a elegant glow .I bought it in France so it is guaranty to be an original French art deco piece of the art deco movement. The body is ebonized wood with a metal base , rewired with Us socket.
Size H.30 x D.globe 10 , good antique condition ,there is some scratches from normal use and some superficial oxidation ( darker spots) .
