The plates in this fascinating history are particularly interesting, with depictions of the Hoe web perfecting presses, the compositor's rooms, publication offices, etc. Bookplate of Joseph Gleason.
Condition
Rubbing edges, small abrasion to spine; slight chipping to frontispiece; ex-library stamps and markings; very good or better.
