Photo album, 12.25 x 8.75 in., containing 221 b/w photographs and printed items, mostly from Romania, Bulgaria, and Germany. Some routine content, yet features one photograph of the swearing-in of German recruits, an image of swastika-bearing grave markers with the inscription "Unfall in Frankreich bei Brest!" ("Accident in France by Brest!") written on the reverse, four images from a Bulgarian military parade, numerous pictures of destroyed infrastructure, and an original photograph of a Nazi prison camp. The album has black leather boards and features the silver title "Erinnerungen an meine Dienstzeit" ("Memories of My Service") and a prominent Luftwaffe eagle in relief on the front cover. Some photographs have come loose from the photo corners, else fine.
