Description
A pair of early 19th century arm chairs, with pierce carved lions flanking a heraldic shield on the crest rail, with barley twist supports and scrolling arms, upholstered back and seat with large nailhead trim, 51"h, very fine examples! Purchased for $10,000 in 2004, at Great Gatsby's, GA
Condition
There is a possible repair to the top of the back on one chair (lions), there have also been repairs to both backs at some point. Overall, these chairs are in good condition.
