Antique Sardonyx Cameo in 14k Gold Enamel Brooch– A lovely portrait of a formal lady in profile with upswept hair and a pearl necklace and earrings. It is meticulously caved in what appears to be sardonyx. Carving is sharp and very dimensional. The cameo itself may have some expertly done restoration to it. The acid tested 14k gold frame is heavy and utilizes enamel at the edge to further the dimensionality of the piece. The brooch is approximately 2” x 1.75” and is 32.2 grams inclusive.
