Twenty-two richly colored chromolithograph botanical illustrations of fruits by William Sharp, mostly varieties of apples and pears, from one of the earliest works of chromolithography, "Fruits of America", issued from 1847 to 1856, and considered to be an important work in the history of printing. Each approx. 11" x 7 1/4".
