Title: AMAZING SPIDER-MAN No. 3
Place Published:
Publisher:Marvel
Date Published: July, 1963
Description:
Good/VG (3.0). Moderate spine roll; two small chips bottom left corner of cover; small chip and specks of white residue to spine crown; slight warp to bottom of some pages. Cream to off-white pages. Stan Lee script. Steve Ditko cover and art.
First appearance: Doc Ock; first full-length Spidey story; first Daily Bugle mention; first Spidey pin-up; first letter column (with first fan complaint about Ditko's art style: "I don't think Steve Ditko drew the FF too well" -Fred Bronson, Culver City). Third and final ish lettered by John Duffy, whose crisp and clean lettering is all too often overshadowed by the work of Sam Rosen and Artie Simek.
