Lot of 2 RARE Scandinavian MCM ART GLASS VASES Humppila, Finland. Pair of RARE 1970s Scandinavian Mid century modern clear cased orange art glass vases produced by Humppila Glass (1952-1986). The distinctive heavy glass design was characteristic of Humppila Glass. Both vases are in very good pre- owned vintage condition with no visible signs of wear or damage. Humppila Glass in 1952, by former glassblowers at Nuutajarvi. In 1970 the company was bought by Rolf Alander. Designers at Humppila during the 1970's included Pertti Santalahti, Kai Blomqvist, Tauno Wirkkala, Henrik Koivula and Vesa Antikainen. Humppila was purchased by Nuutajarvi in 1986 which later became a part of Iittala. Reserve: $75 Estimate: $125-175
