F.H.R. Los Angeles Celadon Green Portrait Tile c1910. Fred H. Robertson, son of Alexander Robertson previously assisted his father at Roblin Pottery in San Francisco until the 1906 earthquake destroyed their pottery. Fred moved to Los Angeles and began working at the LA Pressed Brick Company making art pottery. Signed. Tight hairline in rim becomes craze line, otherwise perfect condition. 2.75"sq
