Description

1830's (possibly earlier) pinwheels quilt, hand pieced and hand quilted with vibrant early browns and brilliant blues. It measures 90" X 94" and is in excellent condition, with light surface dirt in places and no wear. There is grid quilting throughout at 8-9 stitches to the inch. The back and hand stitched, rolled binding are the same early striped fabric and the batting is thin.
