A matted albumen photo of Alfred (1844-1900) Duke of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, second son and fourth child of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert, presumably a cabinet card, signed 'Alfred' and dated 1898 on the mat.
The mat is glued to the photograph.
Sight size 8.25 x 6.5, card measures 11 x 9, the frame is 15.5 x 13.25 inches.
