Roland Paris, 'Harlequin' at a Ball Masquerade, Cold Painted Bronze Roland Paris (German, 1894-1945). Masked figure painted in red and gilt, standing on a two-tiered marble base. 'R Paris' to the back of the marble base. Germany. Circa 1930. {Approximate dimensions: 14 high x 4 1/2 inches wide.}. Reference: Roland Paris The Art Deco Jester King by Alberto Shayo, page 178. Condition: Three narrow cracks to the face. Small loss to one middle finger. Some paint loss, mainly to the back of the cape.
