Native American, Southwestern United States, Navajo or Zuni, ca. mid to late 20th century CE. A set of two rings made from high-grade (94%) sterling silver. The first ring has an oblong body with a curved, vermilion-hued coral fragment surrounded by petite sets of ringlets. The second ring has an ovoid body set with eighteen teardrop-shaped turquoise stones. Size (coral table): 2.25" L x 1.2" W (5.7 cm x 3 cm); (turquoise table): 1.45" L x 1.1" W (3.7 cm x 2.8 cm); quality of sterling silver: 94%; total weight: 37 grams; US ring size 8 (coral ring), 8.25 (turquoise ring)
