The reverso watch is one of the most iconic vintage watches and is truly a must have for any serious vintage watch collector. The Reverso was first introduced in 1931 and the revolving dial was created with polo players in mind so as to not break the crystal of their wristwatches while playing. This timepiece features a 38mm x 24mm rectangular stainless steel case and the steel case is free from any monogram which is incredibly rare for these vintage Reverso pieces. The rare and desirable cream colored dial features a JLC signature at 12 o'clock and Swiss at 6 o'clock along with a small seconds subdial. The manual wind movement is winding smoothly, running strong and keeping time. The watch is secured to the wrist with a 9" stitched calf grain strap finished with a JLC tang buckle. Reference: 25196
