Pair of Rococo-Style Giltwood Mirrors

ca. 1900, each with a pierced scrollwork surround decorated with flowerheads, the crest with lovebirds perched on scrollwork.
h. 41-1/2", w. 20-1/4"

**In overall very good condition, with a combination of gilt and overpainted surfaces, now rubbed and showing moderate wear.

Shrinkage cracks.

Some scattered minor chips and flakes to edges, most notably the carving at the lower corners, and one in particular.

Mirror plates are crisp and clear.
