third quarter 19th century, the rotating and extending seat with a medallion back with a floral-carved crest, the circular seat with a foliate- and shell-carved apron on a turned base with four cabochon-carved cabriole legs.

Condition
Over-finished surface with normal wear. There is a tight repair at a break where the top rail of the back meets the frame. One leg is loose at the glue joint with the pedestal. Old upholstery with wear. No rips or tears observed.
