Pair of 18th century portraits, European.Each portrait is oil on canvas and measuring 25" x 31" in a frame measuring 28" x 34".------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------David's notes: This pair of magnificent portrait paintings came out of an apartment on 64th street where they had hung for 30 years.They are great quality, and probably depict royalty or upper class dignitaries, from the second half of the 18th century.Appear to be unsigned, in very nice condition, and relined about 75 years ago.Possibly French or Austrian.Nicely framed in gilt wood frame from the 1880-1930 time period.

Good condition overall, relined, restoration probable but not visible over 10% of the surface.
