Curvaceous covering with libation cup finial mate perfectly to the top of the vessel, raised on a splayed foot base above carved hardwood base. The body adorned with shallow relief of geometrical archaic leiwen reliefs, wanzi pattern, taotie mask, and interlocking swastika key fret, enclosed with emerge thick ring line on the neck and lower belly. Dragon creates the handle on one side. Dragon is the symbol of the Emperor, the Son of Heaven, eternity, Yang and Yin, male vigor and fecundity, the Li-Shui wave pattern which is known to be the abode of dragons.
