Description
Authentic Native American artifact from New Mexico. It is a pottery figure of a seating man with hands on knees, possibly representing the tribal God of Rain. Made out of local brown earthenware clay. There is a inventory number MR 802 painted on bottom of the figure. Provenance: Deaccessioned from the Northampton County Historical & Genealogical Society, Easton, Pennsylvania. Circa 19th century or earlier.
Measurements: Approx. 7.5" tall, 5.75" wide at the elbowsWeigh 2 lbs. 3 oz.
