Park City,UT - Summit and Wasatch Counties - post 1883 pre 1906 - Another Charles R Savage photograph that is a bird's eye view looking south.  The photo measures 8 1/4" by 5." With the mounting it measures 8.5" by 5 1/4." It's focus is clear and it's contrast good.  The corners show very little wear.  In the background, Savage captured several smokestacks' miasma mixing and settling over the city making it look as if the day is dreary and foggy. In the foreground, lumber is neatly  stacked at the lumber yard.  Viewers can see more two by fours come out of the saw mill at the very bottom right of the photo.  Railroad tracks are next to the mill.  It seems that the city was a very industrial and industrious place before becoming a tony and pristine skiing mecca in the later 20th century. :
