Wartime shortages of leather caused a decrease in quality of the personal items available for the German people during the war. This handbag is made of poor quality leather, with a simple strap and loop, as well as two posts on either side. Due to their poor quality, very very few of them have survived, and so this is a rare example of one which exhibits very little use. Measures approximately 8" across, 6" tall, and 1.8" wide. Light wear on the straps and age on the loop, but otherwise very good.
