Description
The author, Rabbi David Deutsch (1756-1831) was a talmid chacham in Hungary-Slovakia, a scion of a family of revered rabbis. In his youth he learned with the Gaon Rabbi Yechezkel Landa, author of Noda B’Yehuda, who highly respected him and answered nearly forty of his halachic questions (in these responsa, Rabbi Landa calls Rabbi Deutsch “Rabbi David Kitza,” after the name of the town where he was born).
The Chatam Sofer even asked Rabbi Deutsch to remember him in his prayers.
This booklet is a continuation of a previously published booklet, and therefore includes sections that were omitted from the previous version, as well as chiddushim on tractates Sukka and Chagiga. The numbering of the pages in the booklet continues the numbering of the pages in the previous booklet.
Fine condition. 25 X 20 cm.
