Chinese 19th Cent. Lacquered Court Necklace Box 2.75''x7.25''. A carved and lacquered round bi disc form box with three medallions of bird and blossoming flower motifs. Some slight surface wear. Overall excellent condition. 18th or 19th century, Qing dynasty. Collection of Dan Henderson (1921-2001), Seattle. Henderson started the Asian Law Program at the University of Washington and much of his personal Asian arts collection resides in the Seattle Asian Art Museum.
