Elegant 18" Cultured grey pearl and amethyst bead necklace 14K clasp. Very pretty design of dyed gray cultured pearls which are beaded 2 at opposite tips and then a faceted amethyst bead with the pattern repeated throughout except at the center where a tear drop shaped faceted stone hangs in the center measuring 1" tall and 3/4" across.The clasp is marked on the hook, "14K IWI" It weighs 45 grams. The original receipt says that it was purchased in 2006 for $172 plus tax. The original tagged price was $287. It is in unused condition and still has the original tag on it. There is a spot on the back side of the center drop stone that has what looks like an inside crack but is just the natural part of the stone (see photo) otherwise excellent conditon.
