Description
A fine Korean cast bronze figural plaque; a Triad Buddhist figure. The central figure of Buddha seated on a lotus flower base is Buddha as Amitabha and flanking each side is the deity Avalokitesvara and the deity Mahasthamaprapta. The bronze is made in a single piece along with the halo and throne, having an openwork nimbus with an outer border of floral scrolls. Measures 11.5" high, 8.5" wide, 1" deep.
CONDITION: Excellent, with fine verdigris patina and gilded accents.
