Description
John Lennon Hand Signed 1960s Lithograph W/Hand Drawn Details - This 1960s lithograph depicts the art work of legendary musician, John Lennon. The lithograph depicts Lennon and his wife Yoko Ono along with a smiling priest, typical of Lennon's humorous mind. The lithograph has Lennon's printed fascimille signature in the lower right hand corner, and has also been hand signed by Lennon in the lower left in red ball point pen. Lennon also hand drew a halo above the priest, filled in the cross on the priest's chest, drawn a cross on the bible, written "Y" on the woman's scapula and "J" on the man's (indicating that they would be John and Yoko), drawn a bigger nose on the man and filled the lines around the buttocks, all in red ball point pen. This iconic piece of rock n' roll memorabilia has excellent investment potential, as John Lennon was arguably one of the most well-known and greatest singers of all time. Lennon's solo album sales in the United States alone have exceeded 14 million units, and he had 25 number-one singles on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart as a writer, co-writer, or performer. An auction of Lennon drawings and manuscripts took place in 2014, and the collection exceeded $2.8 million. The lithograph measures 9"L x 12"W.
