JOHN SCOTT RUSSELL FRS (Scottish 1808-1882) A LITHOGRAPH, "Tem of Naval Architecture," LONDON, 1864, lithograph on paper, by Day & Son, Lithographers to the Queen, published "Jany 1st, 1864," a fragment from The Modern System of Naval Architecture. 24" x 46" Note: Though an English printing, the boats listed here are war boats, and resemble American Civil War Potomac Flotilla. Provenance: Property from a Corporate Collection, Houston, Texas.
Condition
Some creases, mild toning, expected surface wear, some foxing spots, a black stain lower left, but overall in fair to good condition, wear commensurate with age.
