A VICTORIAN DOCUMENT, LETTER FROM THE SPARKBROOK CONSERVATIVE WORKING MEN'S CLUB TO COLONEL FREDERICK GUSTAVUS BURNABY (English 1842-1885) OCTOBER 15, 1884, BIRMINGHAM, ENGLAND, polychrome and ink on paper, a welcome letter to the private club and political endorsement in support of Burnaby's return to Parliament, signed by William Newbold, Chairman of Committee; Robert Peck, Vice Chairman; and J.V. Bone, Honorable Secretary. 16" x 11" Provenance: The personal collection of Colonel Frederick Gustavus Burnaby, member of the Royal Horse Guards, a cavalry regiment of the British Army.
