Tibet. 1850/1900 AD. Ancient Bronze Ceremonial Phurba with three Headed Ganapati. Extremely fine condition. Rare. 1,020 kg. - 31,5x7x7 cm. The kīla or phurba alternate transliterations and English orthographies: phurpa, phurbu, purbha, or phurpu) is a three-sided peg, stake, knife, or nail-like ritual implement traditionally associated with Indo-Tibetan Buddhism, Bön, and Indian Vedic traditions. The kīla is associated with the tibetan meditational deity.
