Attractive American Brass-Mounted Hanging Lantern, fourth quarter 19th century, by Hobbs, Brockunier & Co of Wheeling, West Virginia, of pyriform in deep "Hobnail" cranberry, now electrified, retains the period elliptical-link suspension chains, canopy and basal shield of cup form, h. 13-1/4", 29" to canopy, dia. 9".
