Provenance: The Estate of Elizabeth Stafford, NY

Notes/Literature: Etienne-Francois Haro (1827-1897) was a noted art restorer and collector. He was a close friend of Ingres and oversaw lifetime restorations of Ingres work. He is known to have amassed an extensive personal collection of Ingres artwork.
