A pair of framed forbidden stitch embroideries dating from the 19th century. The embroideries include: a scene of da jie characters on hulus with flowers and couch-stitched vine tracery, the other embroidery features a scene in a landscape with flowers, fruit, bats, and 4 figures.
Dimensions are: 25 inches tall X 10 inches wide, while the frame measures 27 inches tall X 13 inches wide. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: Both are in overall good condition with minor loose threads.
