Description
A Chinese pewter-encased Zisha teapot with a Qiu Ting mark on the interior. The teapot is incised with a calligraphy poem on 1 side and a landscape on the other. The teapot has a jade spout, handle, and finial.
Dimensions are: 4 inches tall X 6 1/2 inches wide. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: There is a large crack to the interior, and small dents and minor surface abrasions to the sides.
Provenance: From Mrs. Kolich in Phoenix, AZ, by descent through multiple generations of her family.
