Description
A Chinese famille rose porcelain warming dish with handles dating from the 19th to the 20th century. The warming dish is a 3-part set consisting of a lid, interior bowl, and receptacle with a foot. The exterior body and lid depict a kingfisher on a flowering branch and the body also features a poem with 1 seal with an additional inscription around the foot. The handles are attached to gold-toned lion hooks and the lid has a guardian lion finial.
Dimensions are: 7 inches tall X 6 5/8 inches wide. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: The guardian lion finial is chipped, overall good condition with minor wear to the glaze.
