A pair of small Chinese famille rose porcelain gu vases dating from the 19th century with wood stands. Each has a 4-character mark on the bottom, and the body features poem inscriptions and 2 figures on the neck with scholar's items around the base.

Dimensions are: 4 inches tall X 2 3/4 inches wide. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: Both are in good condition with 1 small chip in the rim of 1.

Provenance: From the estate of Mr. Kwok Woon Kun, formerly a shareholder of Wing On Company, a well-known department store group in Hong Kong and Shanghai. This collection was collected in Hong Kong prior to Mr. Kwok's death in 1969. His collection was shipped to Canada in 1981 and was inherited by Mr. Kwok’s daughter and grandson. Comes with proof of provenance
