(5) The Vanwall artwork is similar to that produced by the artist for Brooke Bond Tea's 'History of the Motor Car' collectors' card series published in 1968, while the other works may have been preliminaries for this or another possible project. As removed from the office walls of the last Vandervell Products Ltd M.D. in Maidenhead, following the death of its founder and creator of the Vanwall team, Tony Vandervell, and the company's acquisition by the GKN Group in 1967, prior to its closure in 1997.
